This past Tuesday, Nikki Haley announced on a video that she will be running for president as the first official contender to Trump for 2024. She is also expected to host an event this Tuesday; February 14th to announce once again in the city of Charleston, South Carolina. She had been a representative and a governor of South Carolina for many years, as well as an ambassador to the United Nations. In any current polling it doesn't show the best results for her, but those polls are prior to her announcing her candidacy. This can drastically improve Trumps' chance of winning the primaries if DeSantis runs too; since DeSantis will absorb a lot of the "never trump" voters in the Republican Party.
